About the role

  • Develop and execute an overarching manufacturing People Operations strategy that aligns with Our Home’s business objectives and values as well as enhances our manufacturing capabilities
  • Lead the manufacturing People team in driving initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce planning
  • Foster a high-performance culture centered on inclusivity, innovation, and accountability across all manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement effective solutions for organizational challenges and workforce needs
  • Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations within the manufacturing sector and ensure effective risk management
  • Develop and manage metrics and reporting to track the effectiveness of People initiatives and inform decision-making
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives on all People-related matters, including performance management, succession planning, and organizational design
  • Lead change management efforts to support operational improvements and enhance employee experience

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive People leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and execution, with a strong understanding of workforce dynamics in manufacturing
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams effectively
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and regulations related to the manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with change management and organizational development initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel up 50% to support facilities and operations - 10 locations nationally
