About the role
- Member of Advanced Application Engineering team planning, developing, and executing organizational development programs
- Mobilize change to achieve business results and build sustainable improvements
- Operationalize business vision/strategy into tactical and strategic actions
- Lead continuous improvement processes such as CAP, self-assessments, benchmarks, safety culture
- Develop implementation, change management, and communication plans
- Create consistent and standard materials for AAE
- Manage implementation of business initiatives and lead associated project teams
- Coach and drive maturity in Operating Review, Daily Management, and Problem Solving processes
- Deliver process improvements affecting customer outcomes and KPIs
- Lead benchmarking activities and analyze data to develop recommendations
- Partner with business teams and present strategies, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leads
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related science or technical discipline
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership experience
- At least 6 years of experience in the commercial nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industry
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% (50% if working remote)
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information; final offers contingent on ability to obtain authorization
- Practitioner and / or expert of Lean practices (desired)
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience with project management skillset (communication, risk, planning/scheduling, change management) (desired)
- EPC experience and knowledge; specifically, power plant (desired)
- Understanding of nuclear industry and technology (desired)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (desired)
