About the role

  • Responsible for Tier 1 Supplier delivery, managing supplier commits vs actual performance and problem solving gaps to MRD
  • Facilitate supplier daily management using Flight Deck principles and own delivery action plan
  • Support the Turbine Airfoils Value Stream Part Family and collaborate with TAVS make shops
  • Facilitate supplier problem solving for all parts (direct & indirect) and lead on-site supplier problem solving and action plans
  • Own near term delivery for full book of business and partner with the Delivery Leader on operating cadence and Supplier Partnership Quality and Delivery Recovery Plan
  • Define and improve sourcing strategies at business or plant level; may manage regional & business teams
  • Support and facilitate delivery kaizen events
  • Serve as best practice/quality resource, influence stakeholders, and impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience
  • At least an additional 5 years of Sourcing and/or Manufacturing Operations experience
  • Supplier-facing experience, responsible for Tier 1 Supplier delivery
  • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information OR be a U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or have been granted asylee or refugee status
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%
  • Ability to pass a drug screen (employment contingent upon successful completion, as applicable)
