About the role

  • Anduril Industries: defense technology company delivering autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking to military customers.
  • Serve as Director of Business Development for Electromagnetic Warfare within Mission Systems division, shaping and growing EW opportunities.
  • Build a cohesive, data-driven strategy within the US Navy or US Army to penetrate, expand, and deliver Anduril’s Electromagnetic Warfare capabilities at scale.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders to identify and shape new business opportunities and resolve program issues.
  • Serve as a leader for existing programs within the Electromagnetic Warfare Business Line and design/execute strategic capture campaigns with PEO/PM groups.
  • Ensure effective engagement with senior service and DoD leadership and provide strategic direction to program teams across operations, engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that move the organization forward and contribute materially to business and financial performance.
  • Deliver on financial performance commitments and build strategic market growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Program Management, acquisitions or business development/sales capture experience in the government and/or private sector
  • Proven leader with experience shaping and capturing complex Command and Control hardware and software programs, preferably with recent DoD acquisition experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions, with a history of zero-to-one defense program growth in a key account
  • Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, requirements generation, and budgeting for transitioning prototype capabilities to production
  • Technically minded leader able to build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to market
  • Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within defense and intelligence community
  • Demonstrated high-energy leader with strong management skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers
  • Preferred candidate is based out of Costa Mesa, CA (preferred, not required)
