About the role

  • Aid in selecting, developing and overseeing Stryker’s entire country/ indirect channel network (including NV/Medical/Future Acquisitions).
  • Participate in country business unit meetings to ensure commercial managers are aligned and execute on ICM global practices.
  • Manage the education and training of commercial managers and key stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end IC processes in IC Hub, ensuring contract accuracy and execution.
  • Decide on escalated ICM issues from commercial leaders to strengthen globally established indirect channel management standards.
  • Manage IC lifecycle management, driving rigorous IC standards through onboarding, contracting, and continuous monitoring.
  • Collaborate with FICM, SCM, RAQA, Compliance, Legal, IC-sponsors, and interact with indirect channel partners.
  • Execute the effective roll out of global processes locally and ensure clear process flows are developed and communicated.
  • Establish and maintain responsibility framework locally for ICs and lead business unit meetings to ensure alignment.
  • Manage all IC issues with stakeholder management, drive resolutions and communications, mitigate risks and ensure documentation.
  • Support development of communication materials on standards and expectations for Sub-IC selection/documentation.
  • Continuously support business teams to optimize opportunities through new IC channels, business targets and managing profitability.
  • Work with Franchise leads to define Go to Market and channel strategy and develop strategic plans.
  • Overall responsibility for managing IC governance through internal and external IC review mechanism, ensuring optimization of IC performance and network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, Business, Management or applicable discipline required; master’s degree preferred.
  • >6 years professional commercial experience across commercial leadership, sales channel management, finance, compliance, logistics management or market access.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills; strategic and tactical skills; excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills including developing relationships at all levels and directly influencing business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a challenging environment and perform under stress.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Travel up to 20%-30% (in Japan and regional) may be required.
