About the role
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.
- Manage benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HR systems and with third-party vendors.
- Support annual open enrollment and benefits education initiatives and create/complete monthly benefit reconciles.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accurate time and attendance records and reconcile payroll reports.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and assist with audits.
- Ensure proper recordkeeping, data retention, and assist with badging process when necessary.
- Generate and analyze HR data reports, including headcount, turnover, compliance, and payroll metrics; provide insights and recommendations.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, manage employee life cycle updates, support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and user training.
- Partner with HR leadership to optimize workflows, automate processes, and perform HR documentation audits for completion.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of HR operations experience, including benefits and payroll administration.
