• Own the early computer vision and egocentric perception stack — including data capture systems, vision pipelines, model development, and the infrastructure required to deliver high-quality datasets at scale.
• Work closely with a small, highly technical team to define the architecture, build the systems, and establish the technical standards for Stord’s Embodied AI data platform.
• Define and evolve Stord’s Embodied AI data products across quality tiers — from RGB egocentric video to depth-enhanced and multimodal datasets with hand pose, body pose, and rich annotations.
• Establish data quality standards and evaluation frameworks to ensure datasets meet production-level requirements.
• Design and develop perception systems including: Object detection, tracking, and segmentation; Depth estimation and 3D reconstruction; 6DoF pose estimation; Multi-view 3D hand and body pose estimation; Egocentric and fixed-camera perception systems.
• Own the Hardware + Vision Integration - Design and deploy camera systems and perception rigs across warehouse environments.

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the end-to-end recruiting process for technical and product roles — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close.
• Strategic Sourcing: Build and execute creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, GitHub, niche communities, referrals) to identify passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles like AI Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with hiring managers across Engineering, Data, AI, and Product to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build hiring plans that scale with the business.

• Drive M&A integration execution — from Day 1 readiness through full integration of the acquired entity into Stord's systems, processes, and financial close.
• Support pre-close integration planning as directed — beginning to map the acquired entity's systems, processes, and operational infrastructure.
• Identify operational and financial process gaps in the acquired entity during integration; escalate accounting and GAAP compliance matters to the Director for resolution.
