Senior Product Manager

People Operations

• Stepful is reimagining allied healthcare training by offering affordable, online, instructor-led, and AI-supported programs.
• Operate in a founding People Operations role reporting to the VP of People; own People Ops programs end-to-end.
• Set strategy, design programs, run launches, enable managers, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly.
• Ship cadences, playbooks, templates, and KPIs for onboarding, performance, engagement, and manager enablement.
• Own HRIS, performance/engagement platforms, and LMS; design and maintain integrations and automated employee lifecycle flows.
• Coach managers on feedback, performance expectations, team dynamics, and change; lead low-to-moderate ER matters.
• Maintain processes and compliance (offboarding, I-9/E-Verify, leaves, multi-state compliance) and refresh policies with Legal/Compliance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal/Compliance, IT, Recruiting to scale reliable, repeatable processes.
• Location: Hybrid — Tue–Thu in SoHo HQ (408 Broadway, NYC).

• Own performance-driven social campaigns from ideation to execution; collaborate with creative and content teams to develop ad creatives
• Responsibilities include optimizing campaigns toward CAC goals, daily performance monitoring, conducting A/B tests, analyzing performance data, and staying up to date on platform best practices

Performance Marketing

• Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop high-performing ad creatives (video, UGC, influencer, static)
• Conduct A/B testing across targeting, bidding strategies, creatives, and landing pages
• Analyze performance data and generate actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness
• Stay up to date on platform best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute ideas to enhance our paid acquisition strategy

• The opportunity: As our Associate Director of Student Lifecycle Marketing, you will define and lead the strategy for how we engage and support Stepful students from enrollment through certification and job placement. You’ll oversee all communication touchpoints across email, SMS, and in-product messaging, and build systems that keep instructors, coaches, and support teams aligned around a consistent, high-quality student experience.
• You will own the vision and roadmap for lifecycle communication, making sure every message—from onboarding to externship to job preparation—is timely, impactful, and personalized. Working closely with Growth, Product, Learning, and Career Services, you’ll translate insights into cross-functional strategies that improve student engagement, retention, and outcomes.
