About the role
- Report to Director, Product Design
- Design key product features from concept through delivery
- Advocate for the SQUIRE user, ensuring designs meet their needs and context
- Contribute to the scalability and evolution of our internal design system
- Participate in brainstorming workshops and discovery efforts to gather insights
- Partner with Product Managers and team members to conduct usability testing, both async and live
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
- Translate workflows and systems into clear diagrams to support discussion and decision-making
- Provide design assets to teams supporting marketing and customer engagement, as needed
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a product design role or similar
- Proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing techniques
- Strong understanding of interaction design and responsive layouts across web and mobile
- Familiarity with design systems and interest in contributing to their growth
- Technical curiosity and ability to work effectively with engineers
- Portfolio demonstrating mobile and responsive web app design
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems (nice to have)
- Exposure to B2B SaaS product design (nice to have)
- Motion design or After Effects skills (nice to have)
- Empathy for customers and teammates, fostering a collaborative environment (nice to have)
- Clear communication skills when presenting work and gathering feedback (nice to have)
