About the role
- Serve as the face of the organization; liaison between HOA board of directors, homeowners, and vendors
- Take ultimate ownership in completing tasks and projects and be a customer service champion
- Manage vendor relationships and operate a portfolio of associations

- Engage with board members and homeowners in your community
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of associations
- Plan for and facilitate association board meetings and annual meetings
- Vendor relations, including bidding and project management process
- Consult with other departments in support of your communities
- Risk Management, Insurance, and Litigation Support
- Prepare budgets and manage the finances of the associations
- Attend approximately 25-30 evening board meetings annually and handle after-hours emergencies
- Perform additional tasks as necessary
Requirements
- Approximately ten (8+) years of solid professional work experience
- Experience in roles requiring proactive effort and decision making
- Ability to attend or run evening meetings (usually 30-40 per year; role requires ~25-30 evening board meetings annually)
- High-level organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to catch on to other business computer systems
- Strong customer-friendly and informative communication skills
- Some experience and knowledge of financial statements and budgets
- Comfortable with public speaking in small and large meetings
- Great conflict management skills in sometimes stressful situations
- Experience with gathering bids for large projects and management of those projects
- Must be available for after-hour emergencies
- Valid auto insurance coverage meeting minimum requirements (policy limits of at least $100,000 per accident and $50,000 per person for bodily injury)
- Ability to commute to the Woodlands office daily during the first year
