About the role

  • Soligent: largest pure-play solar distributor in the Americas, mission to accelerate solar adoption
  • Lead and motivate Sales team through consistent training, coaching, and development
  • Establish structure and accountability in daily sales activities to drive revenue and margin
  • Generate and develop new business to meet specified sales objectives
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships and drive effective relationship-building strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Soligent to support and drive sales activities
  • Guide dispersed team of RAMs, VAMs, and CXPs on products, services, policies and procedures
  • Support bottoms-up sales forecast by Regional Account Manager (RAM) and/or Virtual Account Manager (VAM)
  • Support development of sales strategy incorporating competitive and industry information
  • Support growth initiatives via recruitment, onboarding, and employee development
  • Attend and lead strategic sales meetings, trade events, and other sales-impacting events

Requirements

  • Ability to lead and develop a team of high-achieving Sales professionals
  • Ability to drive Sales process and funnels
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, innovative team player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with sales team and other departments
  • Set, meet, and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies
  • Proficiency with CRM systems a plus
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP/DRP systems a plus - NetSuite preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • 5+ years leading a Sales team; experience in B2B sales model
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
