About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing and collection specialists
  • Oversee quote-to-cash process, invoicing, payment application, and global customer accounts
  • Develop and implement collections policies and procedures to optimize cash flow
  • Provide insights into cash and A/R to senior leadership
  • Monitor A/R aging, cash and DSO goals and report to senior leadership
  • Serve as primary point of contact for billing disputes and escalations
  • Partner with Finance Systems to drive process improvements using Netsuite, Salesforce, Adaptive
  • Ensure internal controls and audit-ready documentation for billing and collections
  • Support revenue accounting (ASC 606) and month-end close processes
  • Own monthly closing and reporting for A/R and Billing
  • Organize and lead audits related to A/R including yearly and tax audits
  • Monitor and manage daily cash balances and present reports

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable and billing operations, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing global A/R and billing functions within a fast paced B2B SaaS or technology environment
  • Deep understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, SaaS billing models, and subscription management
  • Experience leading and managing remote or globally distributed teams
  • Strong proficiency with ERP and CRM systems, specifically Netsuite and Salesforce
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance a customer-first mindset with strong financial discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools or eagerness to learn
