About the role
- Manage an assigned account, located in Kalamazoo, MI, creating value for assigned customers through technical service.
- Identify new product opportunities and sell to existing customers.
- Maintain and build assigned business relationships, reviewing treatment programs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coach and mentor indirect reports as needed.
- Conduct necessary training programs for territory plants and new customer sites.
- Manage profitability of the account, reviewing applications and processes for safety improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree)
- 5+ years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred)
- Strong relationship management skills
- Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems
- Project management of complex projects
- Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
- Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
- Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
- Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
