About the role

  • Manage key account wholesale business for Sol de Janeiro and build strong, collaborative relationships with retailer teams
  • Grow the wholesale businesses in alignment with shared performance goals and advocate for brand opportunities with retailer counterparts
  • Own retailer meeting preparation including presentation materials, market samples, product samples, shipments, and meeting room set up
  • Manage 360 omnichannel opportunity planning with retailer and internal teams, including digital and in-store exposures, dot.com, media/social strategy, sampling, and loyalty/CRM initiatives
  • Build new go-to-market strategies and 360 support elements for core and new launches tailored to retail partners
  • Partner with field, education and events to align on strategy, planning and execution for launches
  • Own and manage retailer timelines and deliverables including product forms, pricing setup/changes, samples, and logistics
  • Build and own bottoms-up sell-in and sell-through plans; project and track to gross shipment budgets
  • Identify risks and opportunities to sell-in/sell-through plans and develop solutions
  • Partner with internal and retailer planning partners to ensure adequate inventory support
  • Partner with visual merchandising and marketing to execute in-store visual merchandising deliverables and planograms
  • Weekly and monthly sales reporting, analysis, and communication, identifying opportunities and tracking rankings
  • Work alongside cross-functional sales, marketing, digital, operations, and finance teams; report to Director, Key Accounts; role requires occasional travel and on-site presence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required minimum
  • 4+ years in corporate-based key account management working with retailers (beauty industry strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical ability; attention to detail and organizational/time management skills
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and interpret the data to provide actionable conclusions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships to drive results and present regularly to small-medium size groups
  • Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
  • Must be able to work in our NYC HQ 3 days per week
