Learning and Development

• Support the planning, organization, and execution of training initiatives across SMS group
• Serve as a central point of contact for all training-related activities, ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders, trainers, and participants
• Assist in the development and maintenance of annual training plans and calendars
• Facilitate the administrative collection and organization of training needs identified by department heads and subject matter experts
• Coordinate and maintain training program schedules, curricula, course materials, and related documentation
• Coordinate scheduling of training sessions, workshops, and seminars across multiple sites and time zones
• Arrange facilities, equipment, catering, and technology requirements for in-person and virtual training events
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders regarding program updates and changes
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and completion data within a learning management system (LMS)
• Liaise with external training providers, consultants, and certification bodies to manage schedules and internal training needs
• Assist in organizing hands-on, simulation-based, or site-specific technical training sessions as required by engineering teams

• Design and implementation of Level 1 control systems based on project requirements, SMS standards and similar reference projects
• Perform Level 1 control system programming based on the function descriptions for the equipment related to the project
• Collaborate with project management, mechanical, and Level 2 engineering teams
• Participate in integration testing of the control system before shipment to the job site
• Conduct on site commissioning and startup of Level 1 control systems for new plant installations
• Train customer personnel in maintenance and troubleshooting

Payroll

• Coordinates and processes company-wide payroll while adhering to the applicable local, state, and federal employment laws
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for HCM data, system configuration, business process configuration and reporting
• Manages the employee and manager self-service features
• Processes status changes and updates ADP system
• Works with ADP representative to understand analytics within ADP system
• Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping ADP cloud document configuration and management
• Provides support to plant HR personnel on benefit/payroll functions
• Processes open enrollment benefit plan transfers
• Provides support to online benefit administration for plant employees
• Works with ADP representative to respond to notifications from state agency regarding unemployment claims filed by former employees
• Works with ADP representative to issue annual individual summary of benefits to employees
• Serves as an administrator for Certify
• Works with accounting to reconcile payroll expenses
• Works with ADP representative to troubleshoot clock issues dealing time and attendance

Payroll Specialist

• Program, test, and commission Level 1 control systems for new installations of Pickle Lines (Rolling Mill Equipment) and other applications in the metals industry.
• Design and implementation of Level 1 control systems based on project requirements, SMS standards and similar reference projects

Proposal Manager

• Responsible for marketing and selling all of the company’s Long Products Electrics & Automation products in the Americas Region (North and South America)
• Provide aftermarket support in the form of service and revamp proposals
• Represent the company’s interests in general
• Management of proposal writing and editing
• Manage sales calls and attends sales functions, as required
• Project coordination with team members in the proposal stage
• Coordination of engineering work for proposal preparation
• Prepare and edit cost estimates for proposed project
• Technical presentation of proposals to prospective customers

• Develop, implement, and manage integrations between HR information systems (HRIS), payroll, talent management, and other enterprise applications.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights that support workforce planning and business strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, and operations to ensure data integrity and system interoperability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows to maintain system performance and resolve any data discrepancies promptly.
• Support the continuous improvement of HR analytics capabilities by recommending new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Train HR staff and stakeholders on analytics tools and integration processes to enhance data literacy and system utilization.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies related to HR data management.

HR Integrations and Analytics Expert

Application Engineer

• Support post-project commissioning activities for Electric & Automation and Digital systems.
• Perform process model tuning, validation, and optimization for Hot Strip Mill operations.
• Execute on-site troubleshooting of process, automation, and digital application issues.
• Support Hot Strip Mill Health Checks and performance audits.
• Deploy, configure, and support digital products including: HSM Expert Application, Genius Condition Monitoring, Camera-based Hot Strip Mill applications.
• Assist with data integration, signal validation, and analytics pipelines.
• Support AI/ML-enabled features such as anomaly detection, predictive monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with software development teams to test, validate, and improve applications.
• Support digital, electrical, and automation modernization projects.
• Assist in implementing upgrades, retrofits, and new digital functionalities at customer sites.
• Ensure smooth transition from commissioning to long-term service and support contracts.
• Provide technical support during sales, proposals, and customer workshops.
• Translate operational challenges into process and digital solution recommendations.
• Support customer training and knowledge transfer for digital and automation systems.
• Work closely with: Process Technology teams, Digital & Software Engineering, Electric & Automation service teams.
• Support continuous improvement of service tools, documentation, and best practices.
