Analyzes and determines the most important accounts/opportunities for SIGVARIS.
Manages all facets of national account management from acquisition of national account to managing performance of accounts already in the SIGVARIS account mix with the goal of increasing market position.
Identifies key prospects, cultivates positive relationships, prepares the message, conducts ongoing negotiations and manages all facets of the account relationship.
Develops and implements strategic sales forecasts, plans and goals for each assigned national account to meet the National Accounts annual sales goals.
Grows existing national accounts by introducing new product resets, creating in-store promotions, and trouble-shooting challenges; with the goal to continually monitor performance and work both with internal SIGVARIS team and external partners to increase sales.
Develops a detailed account plan that includes goals, market analysis, account promotion strategy, annual events and other plans that require Leadership approval.
Identifies and targets new customers.
Monitors each account, reviews sales strategies necessary to meet growth and profitability goals.
Drives national account strategies in the field sales organization to ensure implementation by the Sales Force, Customer Service and Regional Sales Managers.
Works with the Marketing and Sales Departments where necessary on competitive information, improvements on existing products, new product requirements, and promotional programs.
Attends national and regional conventions/trade shows when/where necessary as well as national and mid-year sales meetings.
Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
Demonstrates effective communication methods.
Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws.
Accurately performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
Requirements
Must have a bachelor's degree.
A minimum of ten (10) years of sales or sales management experience preferably in the healthcare/medical device industry.
A minimum of more than five (5) years of national account experience selling at the national level.
Experience selling and marketing medical products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to approach issues, challenges and problems by using analytical thinking.
Ability to collaborate with senior managers and move the company towards important new goals and objectives.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Expertise in the development and delivery of presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
Must have a vehicle that meets the Sigvaris Auto policy standards.
Must be able to do 25%+ overnight travel.
Must be able to lift and manage a rolling detail bag as well as set up displays at select customer sites.
