About the role

  • Follow the global Enquiry to Quote process and business rules to create quotes for Customized products and MTO requests
  • Act as gatekeeper/dispatcher ensuring quality of incoming requests and assigning requests within the Global Engineered Solutions Quotation Team when needed
  • Convert Salesman Request for Quote (SRFQ) into enquiries and validate the Customized Solutions Sales Pipeline
  • Prepare official quotations, set prices according to global Coromant pricing strategy, and provide simpler drawings based on design templates
  • Make judgement on need for more complex design and assign design tasks to the Design Team
  • Collaborate with Coromant Supply function to receive supply quotes and drawings
  • Create and/or validate product data/material ID in SAP and manage cases through Dynamics Case Management
  • Finalize orders in SAP and provide advanced technical support when needed
  • Work and communicate with SRT Design Team, Customer Service and Technical Dept to align design and quotation timelines with department KPIs
  • Support sales units to win more business and live the Sandvik Core Values

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of managing Enquiry to Quote is an added plus
  • Proficiency in designing tools (design skills a significant differential)
  • Familiarity with product application knowledge (Turning, Rotating, Holding, SRT)
  • Able to apply different systems i.e. EBP, Fiori, EPLM, CAPP, Dynamics CRM
  • Experience with SAP and Dynamics Case Management
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external staff
  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Time management and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Sales force interaction and customer-focused collaboration skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and training experience
  • Ability to work as part of an international team and high stress tolerance
  • Persuasive and good interpersonal skills
  • Have a strong understanding of our business, products, processes and systems
