Bring the Internet of Things (Samsara Connected Operations Cloud) to mid-sized customers
Drive typical sales ranging $20k to $250k, including POCs and multi-stakeholder deals
Handle multi-faceted pricing negotiations and sell to executives and CXOs
Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
Strategically outbound prospect and build pipeline through high-volume prospecting
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success; Build for the Long Term; Adopt a Growth Mindset; Be Inclusive; Win as a Team)
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a closing sales role
1+ year of experience in sales focused on new school, government, and/or public sector accounts
Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
Experience selling in the public sector mid-market space - medium to large deal sizes
Experience with high-volume cold calling
Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative
