About the role

  • Bring Samsara's Internet of Things solutions to small-to-medium customers, building business
  • Manage sales typically $5k to $20k, including proofs of concept and multi-stakeholder negotiations
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end from prospecting and qualification to close
  • Generate pipeline via strategic outbound prospecting and receive inbound leads from account development
  • Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles and handle high-volume transactional sales
  • Sell to owners, safety and operational managers
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling in the commercial space - small to medium deal sizes
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales
  • Must demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative
  • SFDC familiarity
  • Must reside in the United States (remote position open to candidates residing in the US)
