About the role
- Bring Samsara’s Internet of Things solutions to small-to-medium customers and build Samsara's business
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
- Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads from account development
- Target accounts with 11–30 vehicles and sell transactional $5k–$20k deals
- Manage proofs of concept, multi-stakeholder engagements, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations
- Handle and own high-volume transactional sales processes
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the sales process
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
- Experience selling in the commercial space - small to medium deal sizes
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative
- SFDC familiarity
- Must reside in the United States (remote position open to candidates residing in the US)
- Ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified work location
