About the role

  • Bring Samsara’s Internet of Things solutions to small-to-medium customers and build Samsara's business
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
  • Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads from account development
  • Target accounts with 11–30 vehicles and sell transactional $5k–$20k deals
  • Manage proofs of concept, multi-stakeholder engagements, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations
  • Handle and own high-volume transactional sales processes
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the sales process

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling in the commercial space - small to medium deal sizes
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales
  • Must demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative
  • SFDC familiarity
  • Must reside in the United States (remote position open to candidates residing in the US)
  • Ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified work location
