About the role
- Develop expertise in a new focus area within S&P Commodities Insights
- Create and deliver detailed market reports on the North American datacenter, infrastructure, and energy markets with a focus on North American electricity markets
- Collaborate across S&P Global divisions to integrate diverse insights into cohesive analyses
- Perform quantitative analysis to support strategic insights
- Engage directly with clients, providing insights and solutions
- Utilize expertise in datacenter and energy industries to drive research initiatives
- Share thought leadership through written reports, webinars and industry conferences
- Conduct research for client consulting engagements and deliver presentations and reports
- Travel across North America for client engagements and events
- Manage research topics and priorities with managerial support
- Join the North American Power and Renewables team and collaborate across divisions to develop a new research service
Requirements
- 3+ Years experience in the datacenter or energy industries
- Prior electricity market experience preferred
- Ability and desire to independently drive research initiatives
- Strong collaborative skills
- Proven ability in quantitative analysis
- Strong client-facing skills, particularly with capital markets stakeholders
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Research experience in support of client consulting engagements
- Experience in thought leadership through webinars and conferences
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and events
