Support all Power & Controls business units, managing internal demand deliveries and Drop Ship orders to external customers
Carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including quoting process, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis
Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
Engage with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Programs to resolve medium to complex supply chain issues
Mitigate and minimize supply chain risks to prevent critical line stops
Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Manage supplier-led work transitions through the SRI process
Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed, or late deliveries
Own all aspects of managed supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets
May perform delivery assurance responsibilities
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Program or project buying experience within the aerospace or other highly regulated industry preferred
Experience in delivery assurance, demand planning, or strategic sourcing preferred
SAP experience and strong technical aptitude, including ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Experience procuring commodities such as electrical, machining, and engineered items
Knowledge of supply chain processes and market/industry conditions
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint); Tableau experience preferred
Process improvement and continuous improvement experience
Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10%)
