About the role
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Workday Recruiting module across business units
- Execute and monitor Workday Recruiting projects and change requests for existing, new and future configuration with an eye on scalability and successful operational transition into production
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to gather, understand, and document business requirements and key design decisions, transforming them into effective system solutions
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance for system updates, ensuring data quality and process accuracy
- Provide prototyping of new Workday features and capabilities and stay current with Workday releases and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production Support and HR Operations and other global stakeholders
- Help resolve production issues and act as a point of escalation for recruiting-related system support
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system usability
- Deliver recruiter efficiency, strengthen candidate experience, and ensure technology scales with the needs of a growing, global organization
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position
- RTX will seek an export authorization for this role, if required; RTX must be able to obtain and maintain the U.S. export authorization
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required
- 6+ years of experience with HR systems
- 4+ years Workday configuration experience, with at least 2 years of Workday Recruiting configuration experience
- Workday certifications in Core HCM and/or Recruiting (preferred)
- Familiarity with other Workday functional areas like compensation and reporting
- Clear understanding of recruiting and HR business processes and workflows
- Ability to document business requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and supporting HR systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, global environment
