💰 $124,000 - $250,000 per year
About the role
- Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
- Select subcontractors and schedule and coordinate their activities
- Monitor projects and report progress and budget matters to senior leadership, clients, and other stakeholders
- Lead expense and capital funded projects
- Manage MOC’s, RFQ’s, RFI’s, Contractor Coordinator (JSA’s), PSSR’s, etc.
- Support construction projects indoors and outdoors
- Maintain budgets for expense projects and support capital project budget maintenance
- Maintain a project schedule in an Excel worksheet and/or MS Project and keep well organized project records
- Plan and develop project scope and set deadlines/milestones
- Manage construction projects in the safest environment and evaluate project performance
- Manage PBC Planning & Zoning, Land Development and permitting processes; act as site liaison for RTX with PBC and FM Global
- Manage oversight of State of Florida Third Party Private Provider Inspector Process and F&S WPB Capital annual plan
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience (alternative to Bachelor's)
- Construction knowledge and experience
- Ability to communicate with tradespersons, customers, and management
- Knowledge of industrial facilities and process service equipment
- Knowledge of typical utility requirements
- Knowledge of typical utility failures
- Experience managing contractors conducting work onsite
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products for daily work
- Knowledge and experience with construction project management software
