About the role
- Process high-volume transactions across 50 currencies and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform reconciliations and implement financial controls under guidance of the Financial Controller
- Manage large datasets in Excel—build pivot tables, create reports, identify trends or anomalies
- Post transactions and maintain ledgers in QuickBooks; ensure clean, timely financial closes
- Translate raw data into financial reports—balance sheet, P&L, cash flow
- Support day-to-day finance operations including payment tracking, vendor/client ledger updates, and reconciliations
- Support variance analysis, trend spotting, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
- Participate in strengthening internal processes and identifying automation opportunities
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements
- Experience in accounting, financial control or audit
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, sumifs, analytical models)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or Desktop
- Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS accounting frameworks
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills to transform complex data into financial insights
