About the role

  • Increase the success rate of small businesses; build Relay, an all-in-one collaborative money management platform for employer SMBs and their finance function
  • Serve as Senior Product Marketing Manager at the center of product, marketing, and growth – drive strategy, inform roadmap, and unlock adoption through launches, analysis, customer insights, and storytelling
  • Own positioning, influence product, work across teams to ensure product drives customer value and sustained growth
  • Partner across teams from ideation to launch: shape positioning and messaging, lead go-to-market strategies, set pricing and packaging, uncover insights via research and competitive intelligence
  • Drive experimentation, conversion, and storytelling that connects users to product value
  • Roadmap & Strategy Partnership: serve as voice of the customer to inform roadmap and prioritization; collaborate with Product Management and Brand/Design
  • Adoption & Growth Strategy: own strategy and execution of programs that drive product adoption, activation, and retention; partner to experiment and iterate
  • Go-to-Market Planning: develop and own GTM for features, launches, and initiatives tied to measurable business outcomes
  • Customer & Competitive Insights: lead research to understand user needs, translate into positioning and messaging across channels
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Product, Data, Brand/Design, Demand Gen, Growth, Sales, Partnerships to align messaging and create cohesive experiences
  • Project Management: lead cross-functional product launches and enable internal teams on time

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in an early-stage B2B or B2B2C company, with experience supporting SMBs
  • You have a proven track record of launching products or features, driving adoption, and delivering tangible business and customer outcomes
  • You’re a data-driven storyteller, skilled at crafting compelling narratives that resonate with and influence stakeholders and customers alike based on metrics
  • You’re a customer champion – you engage deeply with customers and translate those insights into messaging and positioning that resonates
  • You take pride in being a trusted voice of the customer when they’re not in the room
  • You have exceptional project management skills, leading and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to act with urgency and meet objectives and deadlines
  • You’re metrics-driven – you define KPIs, create reporting requirements, and partner with the Data team to produce high-quality reports that track progress
  • You excel in fast-paced environments, have a bias for action, and demonstrate a strong ownership mindset
