• Scope of Work and RFP Development: Draft comprehensive scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered and aligned with client goals.
• Develop detailed and accurate RFPs to solicit bids from qualified contractors and vendors, providing strategic guidance to clients on vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the scope and RFPs meet project requirements and standards, advising on best practices and innovative solutions.
• Review and analyze bids, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor performance, acting as an advocate for client interests.
• Construction Administration: Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and daily logs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of project changes, maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering long-term relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
• Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring projects align with their business goals and expectations.
• Provide regular updates and reports to clients, maintaining transparency and open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts, providing consultative advice on additional projects or improvements.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain quality control programs to ensure construction standards are met, advising clients on compliance and quality assurance strategies.
• Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and consultative relationship.
• Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project, providing regular updates and strategic advice.
• Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, address any issues, and offer consultative guidance on project direction.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, providing clients with expert advice on risk management.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that may impact timelines or quality, offering proactive solutions.
