About the role
- Lead and support all matters relating to B2B supplier licensing and regulatory compliance, including applications, renewals, audits, and ongoing obligations
- Monitor and interpret evolving B2B iGaming supplier regulations across multiple jurisdictions and ensure business readiness
- Advise management and other departments on compliance obligations related to technical standards implementation
- Maintain relationships with regulators, testing labs, and certification bodies and ensure obligations are met on time
- Collaborate with product, technology, commercial, and finance teams to embed compliance into business processes and documentation
- Provide structured compliance reporting, frameworks, and governance procedures to ensure transparency and accountability
- Contribute to broader legal and corporate governance matters as required
- Report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance and work closely with senior management
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in Europe
- Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience (iGaming compliance preferred; B2C acceptable if focused on non-operational regulatory aspects)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., UK, Ontario, Malta, Sweden)
- Demonstrable experience managing regulatory licences, certification processes, and regulator engagement
- Understanding of corporate governance and risk management in a highly regulated environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High ethical standards, ownership, and professional integrity
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently
- Confidence to drive your agenda and influence at senior level
