Report to the CEO and architect and execute a comprehensive people strategy that enables rapid growth and fosters a high-performance culture.
Partner with executive leadership to develop a company-wide recruiting function and execute a People roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders on organizational design, change management, and employee development.
Setup analytics and employee feedback to provide insights on talent, engagement, and long-term people strategy.
Design and manage compensation cycle, performance, promotion, and review processes.
Report quarterly on key People metrics (attrition, hiring velocity, engagement scores) and recommend actions.
Own the recruiting process and technology stack (ATS, sourcing tools); establish and run university recruiting and intern programs.
Manage and grow employer brand across platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and update policies and handbooks as needed.
Champion company values in People programs and day-to-day interactions.
Requirements
12+ years of People/HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role building and managing a team.
Proven track record of success in a high-growth, fast-paced tech startup environment; direct experience scaling a company from ~50 to 300+ employees is strongly preferred.
Deep expertise across the full spectrum of HR disciplines, with particular strength in organizational design, talent management, compensation strategy, and culture building.
Data-driven and analytical mindset; use metrics and qualitative insights to measure success and inform strategy.
Exceptional emotional intelligence, with a gift for building relationships, trust, and credibility across the organization.
