About the role
- Serve as member of Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Informatics management team to lead regional clinical informatics initiatives
- Collaborate with Directors and Medical Informatics on implementation, support, and on-going optimization of clinical informatics and Caring Reliably framework
- Support IS strategy and other organizational commitments
- Manage teams with financial and supervisory accountability and execute strategic plans for complex issues
- Provide leadership during critical situations and be available for on-call duties
- Drive program and project management activities including multiple project integration and process/workflow redesign
- Coordinate hybrid work schedule as determined by manager and ensure proximity to Spokane office (75 miles)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field OR a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 6 or more years of experience in clinical practice, clinical informatics and management
- 4 or more years of experience in clinical or IT functional management in comparable organizations, including financial and supervisory accountability
- Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully execute strategic plans for highly complex issues
- Ability to communicate with all levels and manage shifting priorities and be accountable for deliverables
- On-call flexibility required to ensure operational continuity and provide leadership during critical situations
- Candidates must reside within a commutable distance (75 miles) of Spokane, WA office
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related field OR equivalent education and experience
- Preferred: Certification in Informatics upon hire
- Preferred: Epic Certification in one or more applications upon hire
- Preferred: Informatics certifications or credentialing upon hire
- Preferred: 3 or more years of experience in program and project management including multiple project integration and process/workflow redesign
