About the role

  • Work hybrid with ministry leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels for hospital departments across Providence ministries within Oregon, Washington, and Montana
  • Partner with department and ministry leaders to respond to real-time changes in patient census, acuity, sick calls, and recruits
  • Allocate resources for assigned patient units and staff assignments
  • Utilize multiple software applications and databases in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Multitask, continuously reevaluate competing priorities, and apply critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Work night shift schedule (.9 FTE) and support staffing coordination across ministries

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree in healthcare, business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year computer application and database management experience
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask and continuously reevaluate competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work hybrid (virtual and on-site) including night shift (.9 FTE)
  • Ability to utilize multiple software applications
