About the role
- Perform property due diligence using Google, municipal websites, and other online resources
- Compile reports and send research findings to clients to support real estate closings
- Ensure that projects comply with state requirements
- Contact municipal government to validate construction permits
- Assist in the processing of permits in the USA and their requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Meet productivity and quality targets for bonus eligibility and potential base salary increase
- Work Monday through Friday following Eastern Time hours (8:30–17:00 ET; Nov–Mar start 7:30 local to match ET)
- Complete remote training and technical assessments as part of onboarding
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience in Real Estate or construction in the USA
- Advanced level of English reading and writing (B2/C1)
- Proactivity, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work during Colombian holidays to match US schedule (surcharge would apply)
- Distraction-free work environment for home
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to any offer of employment
- Customer service and relationship building skills (preferred)
- Technical understanding of the real-estate industry (preferred)
- Time management skills; ability to work under pressure
- Ability to take initiative, follow up with customers and attain self-set deadlines and company-set goals
- Ability to work with a team and independently; self-confidence
- Ability to listen and apply feedback from critiques and reviews
- Adobe Acrobat DC (preferred)
- Understanding of online research (preferred)
