About the role
- Manage projects under the direction of the Strategic Account Director and eventually assume own book of business as Strategic Account Director
- Work with Strategic Account Directors to meet and exceed client goals through support and execution of core responsibilities
- Understand client's business challenges and help define and achieve business goals
- Prepare annual strategic/tactical plans for each client and individual campaign/project plans
- Manage and strengthen client relationships and propose, sell, and oversee ideas tied to client objectives
- Initiate and oversee Precision AQ activities on behalf of clients
- Manage day-to-day client-Precision AQ communication on strategy and planning
- Serve as an advocate and strong representative for Precision AQ and identify and cultivate new business opportunities
- Closely manage clients’ budget and team efficiency to maximize return for clients and Precision AQ
- Mentor, train, and coach team members
- Assist in preparation of materials, participate in/lead calls, prepare content, travel to and attend live meetings as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree (PhD, MD or PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, and/or advanced degree in management, marketing or business is preferred
- At least 3 years account management (client and internal team) experience within the medical communications or related industry
- PowerPoint design proficiency
- Strong strategic and analytical background
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients and leaders with scope in a variety of therapeutic areas
- Ability to understand and interpret market dynamics, scientific information, and clinical and preclinical data
- Ability to interpret business metrics and financial information
