About the role
- Own and manage key products for Vaccines Data Strategy: U.S. Vaccines Tableau Site, Vx Data Governance, Vx Data Stewardship, Vx Data Tech Stack
- Partner closely with DSM, PAI, Digital, Master Data Management and third-party vendors
- Facilitate access to data through Tableau Self-Service and Data Depot; maintain platform availability and scale tools
- Establish and maintain data standards, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance
- Lead the Vx Data Governance Council to provide strategic alignment across U.S. Commercial Vx BU and supporting functions
- Lead Vx customer data stewardship with Digital MDM and Vx BU stakeholders to ensure customer data quality for contracting, reporting, segmentation, and targeting
- Manage the Vaccelerator data knowledge base, develop and deliver educational materials and training sessions, and maintain a library of communications and recorded sessions
- Pioneer new capabilities using Gen AI and other AI advancements to enable faster decision making across U.S. Commercial Vx BU
- Maintain administration and governance of data tech stack (GitHub, S3, Snowflake, MS Teams) and troubleshoot platform issues
- Support change management, user experience, and curriculum development for data education and training
Requirements
- BA required, MS preferred (relevant fields: operations research, data science, statistics, computer programming)
- 3+ years (BA) or 1+ years (MS) of experience in data strategy, data management and/or commercial analytics, ideally in the biopharma or healthcare industry
- Deep understanding of key data types/sources used for vaccines commercial analytics
- Robust knowledge of core data integration and data model design approaches
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning business and technical teams to deliver complex data solutions
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into data strategies
- Tableau Site Administration, Users, Permissions, Content, Data Management, Governance and Security
- Experience with GitHub, MS Teams, S3, Snowflake
- Experience with Agile methodologies and data product management frameworks
- Experience working with third-party data vendors and partnering with Digital/IT
