About the role

  • Oversee all activities within Australia to expand the Australia market
  • Connect with corporates, government entities and professional organizations to grow awareness and market size of PeopleCert products
  • Work closely with PeopleCert partner organizations in Australia to increase sales of ITIL products
  • Forge and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers to promote ITIL products
  • Mentor and guide a commercial and events team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts
  • Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of ITIL products through target-driven sales strategy
  • Coordinate activities with headquarters and adapt to local market conditions and culture
  • Plan and organise personal sales strategy to maximise Return on Time Investment for the territory
  • Monitor progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report to Headquarters
  • Facilitate and expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints with support teams
  • Participate in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global product and marketing teams to drive local adaptation and growth

Requirements

  • Post-graduate degree is a must in IT, preferably an MBA
  • Over 8-10 years' experience in driving new business development at corporate level with proven track record
  • Awareness of ITIL® desirable but not mandatory
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset able to work across different cultures
  • Sound understanding of channel development, strategic selling, partnership strategy and consultative selling
  • Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills with executives and stakeholders at all levels
  • Exposure to Education market, Consulting or Examination/Certification sectors is an asset
  • Preference for candidates from IT Consulting and/or Technology backgrounds
  • Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL a plus)
  • Advanced computer literacy required (ECDL Advance level desirable)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar software is an asset
  • For SELT-related roles: background checks (criminal record, financial, employment references) and Right to Work checks may be required
