About the role
- Cover recruiting operations while covering for a team member on leave for one of Orion's businesses
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating offers
- Maintain a steady requisition load (10–15 active roles) while managing priorities and efficiency
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align recruiting strategies
- Provide timely updates, transparent communication, and thoughtful feedback to candidates and stakeholders
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through responsiveness, professionalism, and clear communication
- Use ATS (Greenhouse) and sourcing platforms to keep pipelines accurate and workflows efficient
- Maintain a time-to-fill goal of 30 days and track metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Support consistency in processes, documentation, and best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in high-volume or skilled trades industries
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple requisitions at once
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred) and modern sourcing tools
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and using recruiting metrics
- Proactive, adaptable, able to jump into a fast-paced environment
