About the role
- Monitor open-source intelligence, social media, and the dark web to identify and analyze physical security threats and geopolitical developments relevant to OpenAI
- Initiate and maintain persons of interest (POI) investigations and catalog OSINT data collections to enhance discoverability and retrievability
- Identify and investigate violent and disruptive threats from diverse sources and conduct thorough risk-based intelligence assessments
- Conduct overall assessments of potential physical security threats and risks to personnel, assets, and operations
- Provide risk mitigation recommendations and support to Corporate Security and cross-functional partners
- Prepare and disseminate intelligence briefings and reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Leverage advanced analytical tools and technologies to enhance threat assessments, security investigations, and the intelligence cycle
- Maintain protocols, procedures, and methodologies for protective intelligence gathering, analysis, assessment and dissemination
- Develop and maintain intelligence-sharing relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance security efforts
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience conducting threat investigations and intelligence analysis
- Intelligence experience, especially in protective intelligence or executive protection
- Knowledge in OSINT investigation techniques
- Experience monitoring open-source intelligence, social media, and the dark web
- Knowledge of corporate physical security protocols
- Experience with risk management and threat assessment
- Familiarity with the intelligence cycle
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Proficiency with web-based tools and social media platforms
- High emotional intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to engage and build partnerships with stakeholders across Communications, Government Relations, People, Legal, & Information Security
- Knowledge of Ontic integrated research, threat detection, & case management software
- Experience with the ATAP threat assessment process
- Experience working an atypical schedule and being on call to respond to crises and/or emergencies on some nights and weekends
