Report to the Benefits Manager and support a growing global benefits function focused on leave administration, billing, compliance, communications, and analytics.
Serve as the primary administrator for all domestic and international leave of absence programs, including medical, parental, personal, and statutory leaves.
Conduct Leave of Absence (LOA) intake meetings, maintain accurate records using external and internal platforms, and partner with managers and People Partners on return-to-work planning.
Monitor compliance with FMLA, ADA, FEHA, and other statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions and own the interactive process for workplace accommodations.
Own monthly reconciliation for all domestic and international benefit plans; ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, track variances, and escalate discrepancies.
Support compliance reporting (5500, PCORI, ACA, state filings) and maintain process documentation and audit controls for benefits operations.
Partner to analyze medical and pharmacy claims data, identify cost drivers, support stop-loss reporting and quarterly claim reviews, and assist with modeling plan design changes and contribution scenarios.
Track performance of disease management, wellness, and vendor point solutions to evaluate ROI and maintain benchmarking data to guide self-funded plan decisions.
Design employee communication materials for Open Enrollment and program rollouts, create visual assets and short-form videos, partner with DEIB, and support training sessions and benefits office hours.
Collaborate with Benefits Manager, People Partners, Finance, Payroll, brokers, and external carriers on renewals, RFPs, vendor implementations, and benefits projects.
Leverage HRIS and reporting tools (e.g., Paylocity, Bswift, Visier, or similar) to generate insights and improve processes.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in benefits administration, with exposure to both U.S. and international programs.
Strong knowledge of leave of ADA, FEHA, absence laws, workplace accommodations and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting or exposure to self-funded medical plans is a strong plus.
Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data, running reports, and identifying trends.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; experience with HRIS and benefits platforms.
Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex benefits information into employee-friendly language.
Ability to create videos, visuals, and presentations that simplify complex benefits topics.
Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
