About the role
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Omnia’s data scraping capabilities
- Take ownership of the business case for scraping data and ensure competitive, sustainable solutions across data sources
- Work closely with engineers to prioritize and deliver resilient solutions in the face of rapidly changing anti-scraping environments
- Define clear requirements and success metrics to ensure data quality, accuracy, and scalability
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align scraping efforts with business needs
- Leverage data analytics and experimentation to validate decisions and continuously improve performance
- Act as the internal voice of scraping technology, translating technical complexity into business value for stakeholders
- Shape Omnia’s data acquisition strategy to provide accurate, timely, comprehensive pricing data for customers
Requirements
- Around 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or data-heavy environment
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Python and SQL
- Strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders and clearly explain trade-offs
- Proven ability to work with technical teams on highly technical challenges and translate them into clear business value
- Resilient under pressure; comfortable with adaptability and speed
- Knowledge or experience in web scraping, crawling, or data collection technologies (strong plus)
- Comfortable balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision for complex systems
- Must already live in Germany (candidates only considered if living in Germany)
