About the role
- Act as first point of contact for managers and teams on team satisfaction, development, long-term sickness, and conflict management
- Coach and develop line managers to strengthen leadership skills
- Keep track of HR metrics, run employee surveys and qualitative interviews and turn insights into actionable advice for leadership
- Review and improve HR policies and processes
- Support in complex situations such as underperformance, long-term absence, and personal improvement trajectories
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer brand
- Onboard new Omnians, ensuring understanding of policies, processes, and values
- Manage and coach the Employee Experience Manager and Corporate Recruiter
- Own the employee experience in the Amsterdam office and ensure the space reflects company values
- Take ownership of operational HR tasks including contracts, onboarding/offboarding, leave tracking, and HR systems
Requirements
- Empathetic, approachable people person with strong organizational sensitivity
- Hands-on HR experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
- Knowledgeable and confident applying Dutch labor laws in day-to-day HR practice
- Experience with hands-on operational HR tasks (contracts, onboarding/offboarding, leave tracking, HR systems)
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role
- Experience as a line manager
- Coaching and developing line managers, conflict management, handling long-term sickness and underperformance
- Experience tracking HR metrics, running employee surveys and qualitative interviews
- Eligibility: must already live in the Netherlands (required)
