About the role
- Independent and responsible preparation of payrolls (including mini-jobs, students, temporary staff, interns, and short-term employees)
- Maintenance of master and transactional data
- Time tracking and handling of certificates
- Preparation of statistics and reports
- Clarification of income tax and social security-related questions
- Acting as a point of contact for assigned clients as well as for various authorities, health insurance providers, and social security institutions
- Execution of year-end processes and responding to related inquiries
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing
- Practical experience with a commonly used payroll system
- Knowledge of income tax and social security regulations
- Proficiency in standard MS Office tools
- An independent, conscientious, and well-structured working style
- Strong service and customer orientation
- Excellent German language skills
- Good English skills, both written and spoken, are desirable
