Operations

• Shape our thinking and understanding of customer experience and wider operational performance to support front line staff through to SLT leadership
• Create a data-led understanding of what our customers are experiencing and what they are telling us, building a full view of the Voice of the Customer
• Help us understand what we should be tracking and measuring to understand our customers (i.e. metric creation) and build reporting to monitor performance

• We are looking for a Portfolio Associate to join the OEGEN funds team, to support Octopus Renewables Infrastructure SCSp, a Luxembourg-based renewable energy and energy infrastructure open-ended unitised partnership with nearly £3bn of funds under management.
• The role combines valuation, portfolio management and value creation.
• You will be allocated a number of asset portfolios (typically on a country or technology basis) from the Sky fund for which you have responsibility for the quarterly valuation process.
• This includes analysing operational performance, new revenue contracts, financing structures, asset life extensions and other initiatives that maximise long-term investor returns.
• The successful candidate will be expected to update, operate, improve and own valuation models directly, not simply review outputs prepared by others.
• The successful candidate is also expected to work with OEGen teams to assess and deliver long term value strategies and support short term performance objectives.
• The role would suit someone from an infrastructure fund, renewable energy investment manager, infrastructure asset manager, project finance team, or specialist valuations / modelling team in professional services.
• The role also has a forward-looking change agenda. We are investing in tools to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of valuation processes.

Portfolio Associate

General

• You support the operational management of our balancing group management for electricity and gas and coordinate communication with market partners, service providers and internal teams.
• You monitor and coordinate clearing processes with grid operators and help systematically identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• You identify opportunities to improve existing processes and collaborate with Data, Tech and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Senior Credit Risk Manager

Accountant

• Business partner for the fund-level finance team – ensuring delivery of information and service in line with the agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Review and challenge management accounts provided by external accountants.
• Report on the financial performance of the portfolios at monthly Customer Board meetings.
• Deal with all queries – taking ownership of requests and issues, creating stakeholder goodwill by providing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Project manage the portfolio statutory audits; liaising with external auditors, external accountants and fund-level finance teams as required.
• Project manage the annual budget process.
• Review consolidated monthly management account information.
• Review statutory financial statements and ensure all statutory filing requirements are met.

• Knowledge Base Development: Build and maintain knowledge retrieval systems. Process heterogeneous documents like pdfs and build embedding pipelines that extract, chunk and embed into embedding models.
• AI Readiness: Process content from unstructured documents and make it AI ready: Optimize their structure, clear up text ambiguity, and embed rich machine-readable metadata.
• AI Ops, evals and observability: Set up framework for monitoring and evaluating AI output quality (relevance, accuracy, safety, drift, cost) and platform observability (latency, cost, usage).
• Centre of Excellence: Act as a centre of excellence for the whole business in the technical side of AI and LLMs usage, setting best practices and accelerating adoption.
• Governance and Guardrails: Create governance layers for implementing PII redaction, prompt filtering etc.
