About the role
- Serve as a hands-on "player-coach": mentor and lead a sales team while also executing sales activities
- Mentor, motivate, and set clear goals for a team handling lead generation and sales execution
- Improve and implement practical sales strategies to build a robust pipeline and convert leads
- Monitor team and individual performance against key metrics and provide feedback and training
- Personally generate, qualify, and nurture new business leads through various channels
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts and complex deals from initial contact through to closing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients as a senior point of contact
- Continuously refine sales and lead generation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure high-quality leads and consistent messaging
- Gather market and client feedback to inform sales strategy and product development
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales role in IT Consulting/IT Software
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university
- Demonstrable ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Full proficiency in both written and spoken English and Filipino
- Bonus: Proficiency in additional languages or experience with CRM software
