Support employees throughout their Ocrolus journey, including owning the onboarding and offboarding process, answering questions, and connecting with team members to build relationships and drive engagement.
Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, assist with compliance reporting, and help streamline core HR processes.
Provide day-to-day support for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, or procedures, escalating to senior HR as needed.
Contribute to People Ops projects to help drive talent density, improve the employee experience, promote company values, and support operational excellence.
Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and align on recruiting strategies.
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: posting, sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, debriefs, and extending offers.
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple functions by proactively sourcing and engaging passive talent.
Ensure every candidate has a positive and professional experience, representing Ocrolus’ values and culture throughout the process.
Serve as the point of contact for all day-to-day office needs, ensuring the NYC space is welcoming, well-stocked, and running smoothly.
Coordinate office logistics such as deliveries, meeting space set-ups, and occasional travel or visitor support.
Act as a culture carrier, welcome people and support social events and other engagement activities.
Requirements
2–4 years of relevant experience in People Operations and Recruiting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with employees, candidates, and vendors alike.
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to handle both strategic and tactical tasks.
A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
Experience in a fast-growing tech or fintech company (nice to have).
Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems such as Justworks, Lattice, and/or Greenhouse (nice to have).
Knowledge of New York employment laws and HR compliance best practices (nice to have).
Project management experience, particularly in HR or recruiting initiatives (nice to have).
