About the role

  • Substack is building a new economic engine for culture, empowering independent writers, artists, videographers, podcasters, and creators to make a living through subscriptions.
  • Drive Technical Recruitment Processes: lead end-to-end recruitment activities from role kick-offs and sourcing to interviews, debriefs, and offers.
  • Develop Diverse Talent Pipelines: implement inclusive sourcing strategies and leverage innovative channels to build a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Enhance Candidate Experience: design and deliver a highly engaging, professional, and memorable experience.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: establish, monitor, and analyze key recruiting metrics to optimize processes and forecast hiring needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a high requisition volume while maintaining quality and candidate engagement.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to assess technical skills effectively.
  • Ability to cultivate long-term relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience crafting innovative recruitment strategies and understanding of industry trends, best practices, and diversity-focused recruiting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ATS tools such as Ashby or similar platforms is preferred.
