Account Executive

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy that results in revenue growth and new Customer acquisition
• Collaborate with Sales Development Representative and Solutions Architect teams to prepare account strategies and plans
• Constantly initiate new contacts through phone outreach, social networking, and email campaigns to increase our customer base
• Develop and execute a business plan utilizing ScyllaDB resources, domain expertise, and relationships to identify, prospect, qualify and develop sales pipeline
• Build and nurture effective relationships and guide prospects through discovery, Proof-of-Concept, contract negotiation and close
• Create proposals addressing customer needs to drive ScyllaDB Cloud adoption
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecast and funnel and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quota
• Hunter mentality: open new doors via phone calls and emails and prioritize pipeline generation
• Collaborate with Marketing for seminars, trade shows, and marketing-related events
• Communicate and collaborate with VP of Sales and Customer Success to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion of ScyllaDB in client portfolio

Enterprise Account Executive

General Counsel

• Lead a small legal team (1–2 in-house counsels) and provide mentorship.
• Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives on commercial agreements, privacy, labor law, corporate governance, and related topics.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (external counsel, vendors, potential customers).
• Draft, review and finalize employment agreements, ESOP grant letters, customer agreements, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive legal advice to minimize exposure.
• Manage international legal aspects via external legal firms for subsidiaries.
• Create processes and procedures to support a rapidly growing global business.
• Report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, HR, and Product.
• Support ScyllaDB’s business operations in Israel, India, the US and Europe.

Senior General Counsel

• Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives on Commercial agreements, Privacy matters, labor law, corporate governance, etc.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties including external counsel, vendors, and potential customers.
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents (including employment agreements/amendments, ESOP grant letters, agreements with customers, NDAs, etc.).
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
• Manage all international legal aspects with the external legal firms of subsidiaries.
• Manage a legal team of 1–2 in-house counsels.
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
• Create processes and procedures to support a rapidly growing, global business.
• Report directly to the CFO and work closely with executives across Sales, Engineering, HR, and Product.
• Support Scylla’s business in Israel, India, US and Europe and handle corporate matters, commercial contracts, and global employees/contractors related matters.

• Develop and execute a business plan that utilizes ScyllaDB resources along with your domain expertise and relationships in the target market to identify, prospect, qualify and develop your sales pipeline through outreach strategies and by collaborating with your SDR team
• Build and nurture effective relationships as you guide prospects through a software acquisition cycle, from discovery through Proof-of-Concept and then contract negotiation and close, working with multiple stakeholders
• Create proposals that address customer needs that inspire them to become ScyllaDB Cloud customers
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date forecast and funnel as you exceed your monthly, quarterly and annual quota

• Collaborate with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows, and other marketing-related events
• Communicate and collaborate with your VP of Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion of ScyllaDB in your growing portfolio of highly visible clients

Backend Engineer

• Manage a distributed team of very talented 5-10 developers
• Develop performance-sensitive software in an open-source collaborative environment
• Hands-on development of features and review code by team members (~50% of the time).
• Grow and coach the team talent
• Communicate clearly in public email, commit messages, and bug reports

Software Team Leader, C++

• Report directly to the CFO and work closely with executives across Sales, Engineering, HR, and Product
• Provide accurate and timely counsel on commercial agreements, privacy, labor law, corporate governance, and other legal topics
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties including external counsel, vendors, and potential customers
• Draft and finalize agreements and legal documents (employment agreements and amendments, ESOP grant letters, customer agreements, NDAs, etc.)
