Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives on Commercial agreements, Privacy matters, labor law, corporate governance, etc.
Communicate and negotiate with external parties including external counsel, vendors, and potential customers.
Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents (including employment agreements/amendments, ESOP grant letters, agreements with customers, NDAs, etc.).
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Manage all international legal aspects with the external legal firms of subsidiaries.
Manage a legal team of 1–2 in-house counsels.
Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
Create processes and procedures to support a rapidly growing, global business.
Report directly to the CFO and work closely with executives across Sales, Engineering, HR, and Product.
Support Scylla’s business in Israel, India, US and Europe and handle corporate matters, commercial contracts, and global employees/contractors related matters.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws degree from a leading university and a qualified lawyer in Israel - Must.
10+ years of commercial and corporate experience from a leading Israeli law firm with High tech expertise - Must.
At least 3 years in a General Counsel or Deputy GC role at a high-growth technology company - Must.
Fluent in English and Hebrשew (both verbal and written) in a mother language level - Must.
Prior experience working with large multinational customers and partners.
Strong knowledge of SaaS, open-source licensing, and commercial law.
Excellent and extensive drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Solid experience in reviewing, commenting, and providing advice on commercial contracts.
Ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills across all channels - Required.
Efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and nuance.
Able to take ownership of fast-paced projects with rapidly shifting priorities.
