Develop and execute a business plan that utilizes ScyllaDB resources along with your domain expertise and relationships in the target market to identify, prospect, qualify and develop your sales pipeline through outreach strategies and by collaborating with your SDR team
Build and nurture effective relationships as you guide prospects through a software acquisition cycle, from discovery through Proof-of-Concept and then contract negotiation and close, working with multiple stakeholders
Create proposals that address customer needs that inspire them to become ScyllaDB Cloud customers
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date forecast and funnel as you exceed your monthly, quarterly and annual quota
Hunter mentality and knows how to open new doors via phone calls and emails etc
Collaborate with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows, and other marketing-related events
Communicate and collaborate with your VP of Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion of ScyllaDB in your growing portfolio of highly visible clients
Requirements
10+ years of experience selling B2B infrastructure technology
Has sold NoSQL database technology to Infrastructure and platform teams - deployed either on-premise or in public clouds
Knowledge of Open Source is a plus
Proven experience selling to either finance or government sectors while leveraging industry connections
Has IT/Enterprise Architecture/Business rolodex in the patch they currently reside as well as relationships with senior leaders at the public cloud service providers
Goal-oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Quarter/Year, etc.)
Open to feedback and coaching as you hold yourself accountable
Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as an attention to detail necessary to create compelling ROI and value propositions
Intelligent, having an aptitude to learn quickly and to establish credibility and to creatively apply the ScyllaDB solution to an expanding set of customer use cases
Is a team player and understands collaboration
Is not afraid to knock down doors and knows pipeline generation is paramount to overachievement and success
Remote, ideally based between Philadelphia and Boston
