• Scale systems and processes: Design scalable workflows and implement the right tech stack as we expand internationally.
• Own core finance operations: Lead AP, AR, banking, FX, reconciliations, global payroll, VAT, intercompany, filings, journals, expenses etc - building appropriate automations and hiring an appropriate team to support with this.
• Build robust financial foundations: Rework our chart of accounts; work cross-functionally to build clean definitions, methodologies and accounting policies (e.g. revenue recognition)
• Lead financial reporting: Lead month and year end close for all entities and consolidated group; create insightful month end and board reporting packs.
• Manage the audit: Design and implement an audit-ready finance function ahead of our first statutory audit (of FY26 in 2027), including auditor selection and dry runs during 2026.
• Be our accounting authority: The VP Finance is commercially and strategically focused rather than accounting-qualified so you will act as the company’s accounting authority, owning accounting policies, technical judgement, and relationships with auditors and advisors.
• Own treasury management: Design and administer treasury and cash management policies appropriate for a multi-entity, multi-currency group, maximising interest and reducing fees.
• Improve financial visibility: Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable reporting for the CEO, SLT, and investors.
• Ensure tax compliance: Own global tax compliance (with advisor support), including VAT, US sales tax and transfer pricing.

• Instagram Strategy & Growth: Develop, curate, and manage a structured, high-impact Instagram content calendar. Intentionally grow our followers and engagement metrics, focusing heavily on community impact rather than just vanity metrics.
• Video-First Content Creation (Primary Focus): Produce, shoot, and edit highly engaging Reels that capture both the emotional energy and the educational depth of our STEM programs. Optimize all short-form video content for reach, watch time, and retention.
• Visual & Written Storytelling: Write compelling, human-centric captions that connect our core values (resilience, inquisitiveness, empathy) to what parents care about most. Turn technical curriculum themes into accessible, weekly narratives.
• Basic Graphic Design: Design clean, simple, and brand-consistent static graphics or carousels when needed to support announcements or educational content.

• Coach reps across the full sales cycle including discovery, demos, multi-threading, negotiation, and close.
• Help build and refine Nory’s outbound motion, messaging, and pipeline generation strategies.
• Help shape sales enablement, forecasting discipline, and operational rigor across the US team, and help build a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Run first-round screens (phone or video) using NORY's structured interview rubric.
• Track recruiting metrics weekly: applicants by source, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer, and pass-through rates by stage.
• Coordinate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain a "warm bench" of strong candidates for future openings.
