About the role

  • Sell Comcast Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid-size businesses, focusing on advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX and multi-location opportunities
  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services
  • Promote sale of bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer
  • Develop territory through local business partnerships and organizational affiliations and enhance Comcast positioning and brand
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports
  • Generate new leads via prospecting activities including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships
  • Manage a territory with a comprehensive business plan and consistently maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Team with technical, customer service and related support staffs to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction
  • Remain knowledgeable of Comcast products and services and stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred; Comcast may consider combination of coursework and experience)
  • Relevant Work Experience: 5-7 Years
  • Skills: Adaptability; Communication; Critical Thinking; Problem Solving; Customer-Focused; Persuasion; Professional Integrity; Resilience; Technical Knowledge; Workplace Organization
  • Experience selling Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid-size businesses
  • Knowledge of advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX and multi-location opportunities
  • Proven ability to create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations
  • Territory development and management experience, including local business partnerships and organizational affiliations
  • Lead generation and prospecting skills (cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, partner relationships)
  • Pipeline management to meet monthly quota performance
  • Ability to team with technical, customer service and support staff to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales/activity reports
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
