About the role

  • Consultative, client-focused new business development and existing account management
  • Acquire new clients and retain, build, expand relationships with Advertising, Banking, Finance, and Consultancy clients
  • Develop strategic relationships with multinational companies across Japan and sell Euromonitor’s market intelligence solutions
  • Plan and strategically grow a portfolio of local and international accounts to drive revenue growth
  • Identify new opportunities, expand usage of Passport system and content, and secure long-term partnerships
  • Provide research and industry expert support; act as link between clients and in-house research
  • Generate sales through proactive outreach and consultative engagement; identify decision-makers and communicate benefits
  • Train users face-to-face and via online demos; promote product usage within client organisations
  • Manage contract renewal negotiations and work with sales teams to upsell and cross-sell for incremental revenue

Requirements

  • Strong presentations skills
  • A creative and proactive approach to selling
  • A proven track record of sales ability
  • Experience working with the Advertising, Banking Finance and Consultancy sector would be an advantage
  • Advanced business Japanese and English competency
